Go Figure VR:
This virtual reality piece was developed with the Sharon Fridman company to accompany the dance work of the same name, "Go Figure."
In this experimental development, we explored how the original work could expand into a new language: immersive language.
The piece is designed to foster an encounter. An intimate encounter between the viewer and Shmuel.
Synopsis of the original work Go Figure:
A body can speak its truth when it adopts its own language, its very own.
A body becomes a map of possibilities through its difference, when it breathes and moves its inequality relative to other bodies.
It is there that it finds true freedom.
GO FIGURE is, above all, a landscape of inequality where Shmuel can observe the functioning of his body, recognize it, value what conditions and defines his movement, and transform it into a bridge of connection with the other. Tomer answers this call.
In their search for a balance arising from the limits imposed by their respective abilities, a beauty emerges that wishes to be nothing more than itself. A beauty that stems from the willingness to support each other without losing oneself, from the shared desire to be a territory of truth.
