After many years developing architecture and housing projects, and researching the best way to create experiences in this field, we feel that Vissor is a milestone. It's a project where we gather, synthesize, and refine everything we've learned so far, in an attempt to create the best possible immersive platform for showcasing homes.
An example of this process is the decision to create 4 modes: After a long time developing experiences, we realized that the list of possible and interesting interactions was so extensive that it could negatively impact the user experience.
Every user is different, and their energy and attitude can change from moment to moment. We realized that it's impossible to create a single perfect experience for everyone; therefore, the solution was to give them the ability to choose.
We therefore decided to synthesize the possible moods into 4 modes, with different degrees of interaction, narrative depth, or navigation freedom.
The 'walkthrough' mode, for example, simulates what we would do on a real visit. The interactions are real, physical, and simple; like opening a door, drawing a curtain, or lighting the fireplace.
The 'presentation' mode tells you about the project through several chapters. There is a narrative order, and each chapter has an assigned viewpoint and message. These are immersive viewpoints where we can rotate the camera and look wherever we want, but always within that structure.
The 'designer' mode is the most interactive. We can make all kinds of design changes, see the sunlight at any time of year, atmospheric changes, layout changes, etc.
And the 'cinema' mode is the most artistic. A simple and elegant montage of shots of the home, designed to be enjoyed for its beauty.
