One of the goals of this project was to deploy it on a large-format touchscreen so that anyone could explore it freely. In these types of projects, it's crucial to maintain a good balance between visual quality, interactive freedom, and ease of use.
There's no point in having endless interactive features if the experience isn't intuitive and easy to use.
The model mode allows for smooth orbiting around the development, controlled zooming, and adjusting the sun's position for any time and day of the year. It also allows users to select each home to access its floor plans and a list of its main features. Furthermore, it provides access to the image gallery, allowing each image to be viewed full screen. This makes it an agile and convenient home explorer, enabling users to discover and explore the entire development.
The immersive tour of the show home was also designed with maximum simplicity in navigation in mind. Instead of free navigation, we incorporated a small floor plan of the home with points of interest distributed across it. At each point, the view can be orbited, allowing users to look in any direction. This navigation style is reminiscent of 360 tours, but in this case, it's a 3D experience, which allows us to do things not possible in a virtual tour. We can switch between different design styles in the main rooms, and we can modify the time of day at any moment.
