Hielo is a VR experience that explores the reality of a number.
A remote, intangible, and cold number spelling a tragic ending.

Those are the cubic meters of water that melt away in the Antarctic every minute. Through a spatial, temporal, plastic, and emotional intervention, this abstract fact turns into an immersive experience: for such a number must be lived rather than understood. Landscape, architecture and land art. Tempo, music, and scale. Beauty, solitude, and metaphor as catalysts for this journey into the depths of human action.
The journey is structured around an emotional narrative. It has an underlying meaning and a conceptual backdrop, but it is designed as an experience for the senses, not just the mind. Divided into three acts (two turning points and a resolution) the experience allows you to explore and discover the space on your own: to lose yourself, to find yourself. Introspective, solo immersion that alternates the freedom to explore with periods of passive contemplation.
